CO ISOC needs a Mission Statement. After asking for submissions on several occasions (and not receiving any), I decided to take a stab at it myself. Here is what I came up with:
CO ISOC seeks to harness the great resources of this region in order to perpetuate the open evolution of the Internet for the advancement of human knowledge and communication, here in Colorado and around the world.
Credit and thanks go out to everyone whom I have discussed this topic with, you all inspired these words.
Now I need all of our members to let me know what you think!

The only think I might add to the mission statement is a comment about keeping the internet free from government intrusion. Other than that it looks good.
